I’ve never done yoga but would like to. Are there beginner-friendly classes?
Yes!! This year, we have added a greater focus on classes and workshops that are beginner-friendly, suitable for those with illness, injury, or other physical limitations – such as chair yoga, gentle yoga, yoga for cancer, and more.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
Many people find that they prefer to bring their own mat; however, we do have a limited number of mats that you can use, free of charge. We suggest getting to the Festival early to secure a mat.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable and suitable for warm weather. Most classes, workshops, performances, and presentations are held indoors; however, July can bring higher temperatures, so lightweight clothing is suggested.
Can I bring my own food and beverages?
While we have delicious food and beverage vendors with vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and organic options, you are certainly welcome to bring your own.
Am I allowed to bring alcohol?
No, alcohol and drugs are not permitted at this event. Individuals that appear to be intoxicated or under the influence will be asked to leave.
Are there restaurants nearby if I prefer to dine elsewhere?
Bethlehem has so many great places to eat that it would be impossible to list them all! Here are a few suggestions:

Are there restrooms near the various areas where classes will be held?
There are restrooms conveniently located on every floor of the buildings, including Handicap Accessible. Additionally, there are women’s, men’s, and gender-neutral restrooms.
I have a physical disability – is the event Handicap Accessible?
In addition to nearby, Handicap Accessible parking, each building has Handicap Accessible entrances and restrooms. There are also elevators in the buildings.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed in outdoor areas on and around the Moravian College campus, but not indoors. There is, however, the exception that service dogs are allowed in all areas – indoors and outside.
Is the event indoors or outside?
Most classes, workshops, performances, and presentations are held indoors; however, July can bring higher temperatures, so lightweight clothing is suggested. We’ve added Children’s Yoga this year, and those classes will be held outside.
Where should I park? Do I have to pay to park?
In addition to free, on-street parking, Moravian College has parking lots that are free-of-charge. Handicap Accessible parking is available.
